2002-05-07 - 3:19 p.m. frankenbubbsy's doing better now. he's stopped yelling and ramming his head and now he just lies curled up in a little ball with his eye's wide open. at first i thought he was dead again, but his right side twitches every so often, so i'm pretty sure he's still alive. he's so cute. during today's session dr. lambtree said that my tendencies are returning. he wanted to know if maybe there was something bothering me. well, as a matter of fact, there is. charon, the one-eyed newt, has recently become enamoured with the dark side of life and has taken to wearing a small black cloak and plastic fangs which he now uses to aid him in taking even more irritating nips at my left ankle. i told dr. lambtree this but he just got all rolly-eyed again and got this exasperated look on his face. "Cecil, how many times have I told you that that damn lizard and mouse aren't real? Why are you talking about them again? You hadn't mentioned them for ages...I thought we were actually making progress here!" i tried to explain to him that, for awhile, mr. bubbsy actually had been gone but i resurrected him and now he's frankenbubbsy, and that charon, being a newt, wasn't actually a lizard, but an amphibian, but dr. lambtree just closed his eyes and started rubbing his temples real slow. i started to get real scared then because i saw this guy on television do that right before a huge blast of energy rocketed from his forhead and set the building in front of him on fire, and well, i was sitting directly across from dr. lambtree so... i screamed. i screamed a blood curdling scream that could curdle blood if blood could be curdled by a blood curdling scream. dr. lambtree jumped out of his chair and ran over to me and cried, "Cecil! For the love of God! What's wrong? Stop screaming!" well, by then i could see that he was just the same ol' dr. lambtree, and wasn't going cause me to burst into flames, so i wasn't scared anymore. but i kept screaming anyway, just because it was fun.
